** What you missed at the meeting last night **

We had a great turnout last night – Thanks to all that came over to LVHD !

We started the evening with the NOP Silent Auction –
we will continue to have a Silent Auction at the next 2 General Membership Meetings to help reach our goal this year of $60,000.
Next Auction will be OPEN from 5-6:30 pm RRHD AUG 8th

We especially welcomed Antelope Valley HOG as our guests – They had 15 bikes escort the Nation of Patriot Flag into Las Vegas from Lancaster, CA.  It was a pleasure to meet them here this year – they were a blast !

Roddy explained the ROPE colors for some of our new members and guests.

Tonight’s $25 gift certificate winners :
Meeting Tickets: Bev Madrid & Fred Soukup
Ride Tickets::  Chester McQuillen & Scott Jacobson
Kathiez Leathers – Don Wilkens & Terry Sue Jenkins
Newsletter Hidden HOG # – Diane Krampetz

Chuck updated everyone on the next two days of NOP rides –
He also invited Mark the Director for Antelope Valley HOG to come up to talk, he thanked us for our hospitality and said their group enjoyed the organization of the Road Captains on the ride into town yesterday.  They also were thrilled to ride into the Dealership under the Fire Department HUGE flag hanging between the ladders of two fire trucks.

Jason came up to share with us his annual Trip with the Flag – each year he plans to travel a bit further with the Patriot Tour to help honor the memory of his dear friend and our past Director Tom Westdorp.  This year he will ride as far as Texas – Have fun Jason !  Ride Safe !

Sal introduced the new members and guests.

Speedo had some safety tips for us – of course always be careful when riding during monsoon season as the roads get extremely slick with the rainfall.
He also shared that on the roads at the exits of car wash gas stations, there can be soap film left on the road that is INVISIBLE when dry, but its still there!  Please pay extra attention when pulling out of these types of gas stations.
